100% of the water sales from this year's WOLF COUNTRY SHOWDOWN at the Spinning Wheel Restaurant in North Syracuse, will AGAIN go to M4M!
New Country WOLF 105.1/96.7 will host America’s largest country music talent search and radio promotion for the fourth year. The 33rd Annual Country Showdown will be on Friday, June 27th at the Spinning Wheel Restaurant in North Syracuse featuring the new local band, Whiskey Crush.
Competitors in the showdown have the chance to win approximately $200,000 in cash and prizes that will be awarded nationwide. This includes the Grand Prize of $100,000 cash to the National Winner, presented at the National final televised special. Entrance into the showdown at the Spinning Wheel Restaurant will open at 6:30pm as the show will begin at 7:00pm. Entrance into the Showdown is free and all water sales will benefit Stanley Law Offices' "Music for the Mission."
“New Country WOLF 105.1 is a big supporter of local country talent and we consider the Country Showdown one of the most anticipated events in country music each year,” said Skip Clark, Program Director. “It is an exciting community event that provides aspiring artists in our area an opportunity for state, regional, and national exposure while promoting a greater appreciation of country music.”
Open to vocal and/or instrumental performers, the Country Showdown welcomes individual acts or groups with up to seven members to compete. Acts also must not have performed on a record charted in the top 100 country format of Billboard, or the Gavin Report within eighteen months preceding local competition. Interested acts can sign up at wolf1051.com and deadline for all submissions will be May 25th.
A $20.00 entry fee will be required of all local acts entered in our Country Showdown on Friday, June 27th. To ensure fairness, a uniform judging system is used on all levels of competition.
